Bullying is never okay. No matter what was said, no matter what was done. No matter what.

One boy in Kelantan felt the wrath of his friends after he had apparently promised to treat them to fast food but didn’t.

As showcased by the Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS Facebook page, the boy’s friends were caught on camera bullying and beating the boy for breaking his promise to treat them to fast food.

They wrote, “Angered at being played as a joke to buy fast food, three teenagers hit their friend repeatedly. This incident happened in a high school boy’s dormitory in Tanah Merah, yesterday (9 September) afternoon.”

In the 26-second video, the 13-year-old victim could be seen getting punched and kicked by three suspects. Despite the fact that he was already down on the floor, they kept picking him up so that they could continue to beat him up.

The Kelantan Police Chief, Deputy Commissioner Shafien Mamat shared that a police report was made by the victim.

“Based on the victim’s initial testimony, the three 17-year-olds hit him because they were angry that they got played a fool of, with jokes about wanting to treat them to fast food fried chicken. We have identified and made arrests against all the individuals involved,” he said.

Many have condemned the three teenagers actions, describing it as an act of bullying.

This case is being investigated under Section 506/323 of the Penal Code.

No matter what someone does to you, how you react to the situation is completely in your own control. Even if these boys were angered by the fact that they were cheated out of a complimentary meal, they should not have beaten up the boy for it.

How would you have reacted? Let us know in the comment section.
